Remote Data Communicator for Baycity Technologies

The Remote Data Communicator was developed for the dairy industry to help with efficiencies in raw materials. The communicator was linked to the dairy company via internet or cell depending on remoteness of site to send milk volumes to the factory so the correct amount of milk transport could be sent to location. With the location of the device in the milking shed it had to be designed for a wet and caustic environment. The unit was IPX6 rated to allow for the high pressure hose down in the milking sheds. The design also integrated a cradle mount system that allowed for a quick exchange of units if there was a fault as the system was important in maximising efficiencies in the industry.

The Data unit had a number of inputs and outputs so it could handle multiple information channels. These other channels could carry the  growing number of digital data collection now being used in the Dairy Industry.
