TA2893 Vacuum Tester
for Tait Electronics
The Tait TA2893 Vacuum Tester was developed for the service centers who work on the Tait waterproof radios. With the radios rated to IP67 they needed to be validated after any service work was carried out. The vacuum tester had dedicated jigs for each model of radio that could be applied and a vacuum test could be carried out to validate the seal was still up to the IP67 standards before releasing back to the customer. The units was design to fit in a sturdy pelican case so could be shipped and transported as specialised servicing equipment.
The units was designed to be connected to a standard air feed that would then generate the vacuum internally in the units to allow the testing procedure.
