MS-NRX200 Remote Head Cover for Fusion
Fusion required a cover to fit their range of Control Heads to protect them from the marine environment. A range of soft silicon covers was developed to fit firmly onto the product but still be easily removed with the integrated release tab. Silicon was used to be resilient to riggers of the marine environment and also has a good impact resistance from the occasional knock. The silicon material was designed to grip around the outside edge of the remote creating a seal to prevent water and dust ingress.
The Remote Head cover had a dedicated rib around the display area to hold the cover off and prevent scratching and damage during storage.
The Cover was designed to grip and suck on around the outer edges. It utilises a simple pull tab at one end to release the seal and lift the cover off for use.
